Block Bloom ("the game") is made by RVV Studios ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. Contact: under.rated.ruan@gmail.com.
| What | Who processes it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID, device and app info (model, operating system, language), IP address (used for approximate country), ad interactions, an ad-network user ID and purchase activity | Unity LevelPlay (ad mediation), Unity Ads, ironSource Ads and, where enabled, Google AdMob (ads) | To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud; personalised ads only where you allow it |
| Anonymous device/user ID, device model and operating system, country (from IP), game events (levels started, won or failed, boosters used, coins earned and spent, ad views, purchases with product and price), session start and length | GameAnalytics (analytics) | To understand how the game is played, balance the levels and fix problems |
| Random app-instance ID, advertising ID (when allowed), device and app information, country (from IP), app installs and opens, the end of each run (mode and score) and the first clear of each Adventure level | Google Analytics for Firebase (Android only) | To measure which of our Google Ads bring players who actually play |
| Purchase records (product, time, order ID) | Google Play / Apple and the game | To deliver and restore what you bought |
| Game progress, coins, boosters, collection, settings | Stored on your device only | To save your game |
| Notification permission and the time of your next reminder | Stored on your device only | To send the daily reminders you chose to allow |
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the data to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with other data about you.
Ads are delivered through Unity LevelPlay (Unity Technologies' ad mediation), which picks an ad from Unity Ads, ironSource Ads and, where enabled, Google AdMob. They appear as optional rewarded videos (you choose to watch one for a reward), as short full-screen ads between some game rounds, and as a banner at the bottom of the play screen.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland (and wherever the game cannot tell your region), the game asks on first launch, before any ad network starts, whether it may use your advertising ID to personalise ads. If you say no you still see ads, but not personalised ones. Everywhere else personalised ads are on by default. You can change your choice, or opt out of personalised ads (including the sale or sharing of data for advertising under US state laws), at any time in Settings ▸ Personal ads. On iPhone, the game asks whether apps may track you (Apple's App Tracking Transparency); if you decline, only non-personalised ads are shown. Elsewhere you can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ Ads; iOS: Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking).
Buying Remove Ads turns off the full-screen ads and the banner. Rewarded videos stay optional.

GameAnalytics receives gameplay events linked to an anonymous ID so we can balance levels and fix problems. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it only starts after you say yes on the first-launch privacy question. You can switch it off at any time in Settings ▸ Analytics.
GameAnalytics' policy: https://gameanalytics.com/privacy
On Android, the game uses Google Analytics for Firebase only to measure which of our Google Ads campaigns lead to players who actually play: the automatic install ("first open") and session events, the end of each run (game mode and score) and the first time each Adventure level is cleared. Firebase receives a random app-instance identifier, your advertising ID when allowed, device and app information and your approximate country. It starts switched off with every consent signal set to "denied", and only starts once your privacy choice is known: outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland straight away, inside only after you say yes on the first-launch privacy question. Switching off Settings ▸ Analytics also keeps it off. See Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy and how Google uses data from apps: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
In-app purchases (such as Remove Ads, the Starter Pack and coin packs) are processed by Google Play or the App Store. We receive confirmation that a purchase happened, the product and the price, but never your card or payment details. Restore in the shop gives your purchases back on a new device.
If you allow notifications, the game schedules local reminders on your device (for example when the daily challenge resets). They are not sent from a server. You can switch them off in the game's Settings or in your device settings.
Block Bloom is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under the GDPR, or certain US states), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale or sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To use any of these rights, email us; you can also change your ad choice in Settings ▸ Personal ads, and you can complain to your local data-protection authority.
Data sent by the game travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) to the providers above.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the game.
